Open Farm Sunday returns with a bang

After a two-year absence Open Farm Sunday returns with a ‘bang’ on 12 June and aims to boost the number of farms opening their gates to the public.

As the largest annual celebration of British farming, Open Farm Sunday gives the public a closer look about what it takes to be a farmer in Britain and to learn more about how farmers produce the food they eat.  

AHDB is proud to sponsor this year’s event which focuses on health in its many guises, from soil health, to keeping the planet healthy using sustainable practices, right through to the nutrition of the products the farmers produce.  

Farmers are being encouraged to register as hosts to help connect with the local community and share their story.

If you haven’t participated previously, you can join an online Zoom at 7pm on Thursday 5 May session for practical, hands-on advice around how to manage the event and how to best promote it.
