Bluetongue virus – what you need to know
Cases of bluetongue virus (BTV-3) continue to be identified, and the Restricted Zone has been extended. To help you understand what you can and can’t do in terms of moving animals into and out of Restricted Zones, we have created a quick-reference table with the key information.
We have also added photos of the clinical signs of BTV to our online bluetongue resources to help you know what to look out for.
We are continuing to hold weekly webinars to provide you with an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have. Full details can be found in the events section below, or visit our website.
We would also like to understand the impact of BTV-3 in the UK this year so that we can all be prepared for the ongoing impact of the disease. Let us know how BTV has affected your business in this short survey.
If you have questions and would like to speak to someone about bluetongue, call the AHDB hotline on 024 7771 0386.
