Battle Bluetongue – Don’t get complacent
|
Since July 2025, there have been 284 cases of bluetongue (BTV) in Great Britain, which is why it’s important to stay vigilant and recognise the signs of the disease.
Last year, affected UK cattle herds saw an increase in abortions, stillbirths and dummy calves linked to BTV-3 infection.
Check the clinical signs and how to report suspected cases on our website, and don’t miss our update webinar on 11 March.
Consult your vet to discuss BTV-3 vaccination and use our online tools to inform your decision.
